Teocalli announces it’s 2008 fall semester of folklórico classes for all ages.  The classes are offered under the tutelage of Teocalli.

Since October of 1996, Escuela Teocalli has trained over 100 children, and has been a regular participant in the annual “Niños del Valle” and “Danzantes Unidos” festivals.  In 1997 “Escuela Teocalli” won its category in the annual “16 de septiembre” parade in Downtown Fresno. Not satisfied, the parents and the children worked even harder to win the sweepstakes in the same parade the next year.

Teocalli currently services about forty students of all ages, and it’s looking forward to expanding its classes to accommodate all additional students. Classes are open to all the children of the community.
